sun tanning and BFing

so question for y'all, after i have the baby i want to start tanning again, have you all heard if you can tan, and BF at the same time or is it not good to do? ( yes i already have heard tanning is not good to begin with but lets face it 9 months of no sun makes me a white girl!)

I wouldnt see why it would be a problem, as long as you are hydrated and you have the baby covered up.

no problem for you to tan. obviously baby shouldn't be in the sun too much but there's no particular problem for you. might want to wet washcloth yourself between tanning and feeding so that you don't taste so sweaty/salty. DD never seemed to care but i always felt gross if she needed to eat right after i ran or something.

I was wondering the same thing.... I'm in a wedding approximetly 6 weeks post-partum. I have to wear this nice strapless dress - what can i say, my arms have grown! If they are tanned, i think they'll look a bit better! :P

I think I'll do it.

I don't imagine it's a good idea to lay in the sun for an hour and then immediately go feed your child...you're probably overheated and should cool off for a bit. Otherwise, I don't see the problem.

good lord am I glad that no one said that there was a problem.  I have been going through tanning withdrawl (I know bad me) and almost started crying thinking I was going to have to wait any longer.  Sun here I come!
