Okay, here is my mil vent for the day...

Mil called this morning and said that she was going to get us our monitor for the our shower present, which is awesome. She then goes on to say that she is going to get a shopping cart cover as a prsent from dh's grandmother. I didnt put a shopping cart cover on our registry b/c 1. I hated all of them that they had in both stores that we registered at and 2. It's not something that we are going to need right now. So dh tells her that we didnt see one that we liked in stores and that there are alot of things that are around the same price that we really need. So dh stopped by mil house a few minutes ago and low and behold....she had went and picked out a shopping cart cover from the store that we registered at, knowing damn good and well that we had seen the same one and didnt like it.

I know Im probably being a brat, but for f*ck's sake, dh just told you that there are other things that we NEED. I swear, she does this kind of thing on purpose, just so she can give me eat *** looks at my baby shower when I open it.

We were looking at baby clothes at Target and she pointed out 2 onesies. DH and i BOTH said, eh we don't like it and ta da!!! Guess what's in a gift bag at our shower a couple of weeks later. ?
