What would you wear?

DS is getting baptized in a couple weeks.  The catch is, so is my mom.  She's been working on converting to catholicism for a while and just finished all of her classes.  She is getting baptized, having her marriage to my dad validated by the church and then DS will be baptized all in one ceremony.  My parents are DS's godparents.  I am supposed to be doing the readings during the ceremony. 

My mom is wearing a bridal gown seeing this is kinda a vowal renewal ceremony for them.  Only close friends and family will be there and there will not be a reception.  Her witness (aka maid of honor) is wearing a lavendar bridesmaid dress.  My mom keeps telling me to wear "whatever I want" but I have no idea where to begin.  What would you do?  I have no idea how dressy is appropriate.

Wear what you would to a wedding or other church service
