I know several of you have asked about this recently and I just wanted to share... I was actually thinking of packing this thing up b/c Gavin has not been cooperating with us putting him in there lately. It's not the most attractive thing to have sitting in the living room, but it really has allowed us to retain our sanity since we bought it about 6 months ago. Our family room/kitchen area is really very baby proofed, but even so, it is exhausting trying to keep an eye on him. We just need a place to put him so we can cook dinner, do the dishes, etc. Also, we keep all of his toys in there so it also cuts down on clutter, which is a major plus for a neat freak like me. Anyway, he has been hanging out in there playing with his toys just being the sweetest boy all weekend! DH and I are sitting here watching tv and nesting while he plays happily by himself. I'm so happy he's back to enjoying it! We started using it when he was just starting to butt shuffle (Gavin never crawled, just scooted across the floor on his butt). After he started walking, he did go through a phase of not wanting to be in there (hence my thoughts of packing it up). But I mean really, for 30 minutes of uninterrupted peace and quiet... this thing is so worth it. BRU runs it on sale every once in a while and then you can also use one of their 20% off coupons. So we only paid about $45 for it. Worth every penny. HTH!
Re: Why I love our Superyard
AMEN!!
Superyard XT + Yo Gabba Gabba = 30 minutes of Heaven.
Major ditto to this!!!!!
We also added an extension onto ours to make it a little larger. It seriously ranks in probably my top 3 of "best money spent" items.
I still say if I had ever put Evie in one she would have figured out how to inflict pain on me. ? ?She won't even stay in her play room if I am not there. ? She follows me around the house, if I leave.?
When she did sit in her jumperoo it was great. ?But that was short lived. ? This girl does not want to be contained. ?
