sex=OUCH!

Today was the first time my husband and I had sex since I found out I was pregnant 2 1/2 months ago.  I have had no desire to do it, for a number of different reasons, so when he asked for it today I said OK even though I didn't want to at all.  Man! It was so uncomfortable--even somewhat painful at times!  Anyone else find it an incredibly uncomfortable experience?

Try switching positions.  I found that switching to on-top was better for us.

Try a different position and use some lube.It really helps.

It took me awhile to get used to it again after finding out we were pregnant. But eventually I did. Good luck!

I had a crapload of sex in the first tri.   It was around week 21 that my libido finally backed off some.   Did it for the first time in about a week last night, and Ouch!  That time it hurt - like he was hitting something inside.   So not comfortable.

we have sex about twice a week but the first time after we found out was weird. My dh asked if he could poke it. I find being on top is best because then I can control how far it goes in. I think i would go crazy w/o it and i know in a couple months i won't want to so i am gettin it in now

I have had pain as well. I have a sensitive cervix (according to my OB) that bleeds at the slightest touch (it bled when my OB touched it with a q-tip) so we have to be super careful about how far it goes in, etc. Plus I have an eczema patch near the area down there so not so fun sometimes.

We tried me on top and it was better, but only slightly.

Yea, this has happened to us and we found that going slow and switching positions as needed helped. Lube is also a good thing, as a pp mentioned... Good luck! And maybe this is a good time for foreplay!

We didn't have sex after finding out until last night! I was also afraid of m/c...even though I've had zero issues so far (gratefully). It did hurt....I had to put an ice pack down there afterwards.
