I'm about 6 weeks and I have a cold.  What's ok to take?

I had a really bad sore throat last weekend and the only thing they told me I could take to bring the fever down was tylenol!!! (

And they say is better if you do not take anything in the first tri....I would recommend to call your OB....

I have had an awful cold/sore throat since 5w.  I am now 7w and I still have a slight cough.  Since I didn't have a fever, I have just tried the old fashioned way to feel bette.... REST.  I wouldn't recommend taking anything because you don;t want to risk any thing happening to your baby.

I had the flu for two weeks right after I got my BFP. ?Both my general practitioner and my OB said I could take Tylenol and Robitussen DM. ?I think Tylenol is generally considered safe, but some docs do not recommend the Robitussen. ?I'd call up your doc and then decide for yourself if your symptoms are severe enough to justify the unknown risk. ?In my case I definitely felt they were.
