Is anyone else going to tune in Sunday night to see how someone could possibly go through 9 months without realizing they are pregnant? I am morbidly curious to watch!
If it is the same one tlc ran about eight months ago, it is kind of intresting but still rather dumbfounding that women could not realize something like that. Mostly it was women whose doc told them they could not conceive that either went off of BC or never used any to begin with.
IMO if you still have the parts nothing is impossible.
Yeah I watched the one on TLC and it was astounding! One woman actually birthed one of her twins in the toilet at the Hospital it was shocking! What time is it on sunday??
wow I can't believe that! maybe like a couple months but honestly you're body changes soo much

Expecting a little boy! Diagnosed with ML type II at 19 weeks
So I actually KNEW a girl who went through this! She worked at the food counter in my college union. We all noticed her gain weight, but no one suspected pregnancy (she was a larger girl to begin with). She would later claim she had irregular "periods" throughout the pregnancy and simply thought she was constipated a lot.?
She was supposed to go to an RA meeting one night but was feeling crampy and "constipated." Per the newspaper article i read, she reached down between her legs and felt the baby's head. She was standing, pushed, and the baby came out. She was COMPLETELY unaware, but the baby survived. If i didn't know the girl and see her every day, I wouldn't have believed it.?

LUBBINS, Do you remember that??
The same thing happened to a girl that lived in my dorm sophomore year, except she AND the baby died. It was horribly tragic.
My mom knew a lady when I was little who didn't know until like 5 or 6 months. She was on BCP and continued to have her period every month. She found out because she had a severe back-ache and went to her doctor...the doctor examined her, realized she had a tipped uterus and was pregnant, which was causing the back ache. Apparently he like...popped it out and she suddenly looked pregnant. She was so big she had to wear a hospital gown to get home!
This was on when I was up with my son in the middle of the night one night this week... it was shocking. These stories blew my mind. It was the third child for one lady... it was NUTS but so intriguing I am getting ready to set my DVR right now. I actually had some sympathy for the ladies... it is not what you think....
if its timed right, I'm sure many other women would feel the same way. lets say you get pg towards the end of summer/fall. you start getting big around the holidays (hello eating a lot) and wear more layers so that hides the bulk weight. then you get "periods" where it seems you bleed a little shorter than normal but its still bleeding. and feeling sick? who wouldn't think they are catching the flu while praying to the porcelain gods?
I saw that show!! It make me think they were crazy to not know! BUT...I too know a girl who this happened to. A mutual friend called me one day and said...guess who had a baby!? The girl is very large to begin with and so that was a factor I guess. After she gave birth she actually had to take parenting classes and stuff in order to be allowed to keep the baby- otherwise she'd be charged with neglect or something...it was odd! (Her daughter is 5 now!)
I thought I was weird because I didn't figure it out for a whole 7 weeks! In my defense, I have irregular periods (we're so happy I'm finally pregnant after 18 months trying!)
I also know a girl this happened to. She seriously thought she was just gaining weight as she bled like her period every month. I saw her everyday. She never looked pregnant. She never had any symptoms.
She started having contractions at her mom's and her mom made her go to the hospital. She had the babe there the very next day.

I'm gonna watch it because i don't understand how it is possible to go 9 months and not know that they were pregnant

?
That is awful... awful.?
They have been showing different episodes featuring two women an episode for a few weeks now. I posted on it a couple of weeks ago.
Personally I think it is a fat case of denial.
I'm morbidly curious - I'll have to watch!
