I'm nervous to tell my dad...

We are going to tell the parents tonight and I'm nervous to tell my dad. He is very emotional and I'm his little girl. He already has two granddaughters so I know he'll be excited. I guess I'm just a bit afraid about what his reaction will be.

    I have the same problem going on. My parents are divorced (have been since I was 3), and I have never really had a close relationship with my Dad. Somehow, I am still nervous to tell him. I have been putting it off since the day of my BFP (everyone else knows except him). I think the reason I am scared / nervous to break the news, is because I don't think he is going to be excited.

    Anyways, I just wanted you to know that you are not alone! GL to you!

    If you are anything like me you are afraid of sobbing like a 3 year old. I cried a little but I survived.

    I was too. Im the only daughter..and this is the first grandbaby. He is so excited though...but now he DEF knows Ive had sex LOL

    Me too! I am my Dad's only daughter and I am soooo nervous to tell him. I am his little girl and I think he has just always thought that I would never grow up. Both of my parents live out of state so I hate that I will have to tell them over the phone and I think that will make it even harder. I am waiting till we go for our first appointment next week just to make sure everything is ok thus far! GL!
