Not sure if you saw my post earlier when you posted the adorable pic of your little man screaming (he is gorgeous, BTW):

Scuba- have you had any pain or difficulty with BFing?  Looks like your little man has a bit of a tongue-tie.  Sometimes that can cause a bad latch...

Glad you got it taken care of!  You must have an astute physician because a lot of pedi blow it off like it is not a big deal and will not clip it.  I haven't dealt with it personally, but am training to become an IBCLC (Lactation Consultant) and it is something we are told to look for so I noticed it in your pic

I am so glad it was a quick fix.  Not fun for Chase to have to go through it, although I am told it barely bleeds and is not supposed to be very painful.  Hooray for less painful BFing!!!

Ditto on the Pedi being astute. I had the same cracking and bleeding issues with Ben, he is CLEARLY tongue-tied and yet, no one could figure out why his latch was off and causing me to have cracked nipples. Grrrr! Thankfully, I had a much more successful breastfeeding experience with Emily. If Callie is tongue-tied, too, I'm definitely putting my foot down. Cracked, bleeding nipples are a big deal! Ouch.
