I read in Jojo's post below that several of you have a Superyard. Do you leave it set up in one room all the time? If not, what do you do with it when it's not set up? Does it fold up small enough to fit say, under the couch or in a closet? Which room do you keep it in? I think I need something like that but I want something that I can move from room to room.
Re: Talk to me about the Superyard
It folds up, but I wouldn't say its small....since it has like 6 or so panels. Can't fit under our couch, but can fit in closet easily. ITs very lightweight I think, so easy to move. We had our tree behind ours at xmas also, I know people who have put the tree in the middle.
I use ours in the family room and it is stretched out from one wall to the other in front of the fireplace and TV/Entertainment stuff. When SC was little I had toys attached to it. Never used it as a playyard, it has just been blocking device for us, which I knwo kind of pricey, but we figure we can use it for the dog if we ever need to and the resale seems to be good on them.

Thanks julie for the info. I think we are going to have to bite the bullet and get one for the same reasons as yours. We need it for the fireplace and tv/entertainment stuff. Everyday he goes straight to the most dangerous items which is the fireplace and tv stuff.
We have one, which we use to block Merritt from crawling under our grand piano. Personally, I think it's a bit of a pain to break down and set up, although it's really not that hard to do and doesn't take much time. Maybe it's just ours, but the panels are really flexible and I have a hard time getting both the top and the bottom connections to move simulatenously.
You can always buy one at BRU and return it if it doesn't work for the room.
We LOVE ours! I bought the extension for it and we have it wrapped around a few pieces of furniture. It gives G. a HUGE play yard. We're expecting her to start walking in the next couple of weeks - when that happens, we'll use it block off the TV and entertainment center. I love Julie's idea of wrapping it around the tree.
I actually leave mine in place all the time. It's in our family room and we spend most of our time in there anyway. I think it's light enough and easy to manipulate.
