Seriously.

Does he NEED a Cozy Coupe?  Nope.

Does he NEED the huge yellow ducky stuffed animal I bought him for Easter?  Nope.

How about all the clothes I bought him yesterday?  How about all the stuff that's going in the Easter basket??  ARGH!!!!!

Even when I'm grocery shopping, I feel like half the basket is devoted to him. I have GOT to start cutting back.  It's SO hard though!

Oh trust me I totally understand! I told DH I have put a freeze on all spending for Sophia, not that he spends money on her but I had to say it out loud so he can remind me . After the consignment sales and her birthday, she has more summer clothes then she knows what to do with. She seriously has a summer outfit for almost everyday.

I think we talked about this yesterday...it's so easy to buy stuff for T, and I know she really doesn't NEED any of it (except for food, that's rather important).  But she's now got more clothes that me and DH put together, and more toys that I think we had too!  I can't help it, and I do need to stop.

I totally agree! ?I love to shop for my DS and feel that I need to buy him something everywhere I go. ?I am on a mission to find the cozy coupe today in San Antonio. ?I am tempted to buy two. ?One for my dad's house and one for our house. ?My dad gave me $300 today to go and spend on toys for DS to keep at his house. ?I can't wait. ?I get to buy things (lots and lots of things) and it isn't my money to spend. ?I am so excited. ??

This is exactly why I need to stop doing my grocery shopping at Target.  I end up leaving with way too much crap.

Here's my theory, at least my personal one.  I was a big time shopper before him, but it was always for myself.  Now, I'm not super happy with trying clothes on, they are always ten times more expensive, and chub is cute on K, not on me.  So that means I end up filling my shopping void with stuff for K since it's easier that way.  I have to say I've cut way back, though.  I really try not to keep too many outfits on hand because I feel like asss when he outgrows something he's only worn twice.  And anytime I have the extreme urge to buy him something, I head to the book section first.  He can never have too many books.

I totally had to cut back.. I put him (OK, me) on a budget.  I think what makes me slow down is how fast he was growing.  I hate the fact that I buy him a shirt, only for it to be a muscle shirt the first time he wears it, that totally sucks. 

Although I did get him the cutest easter set yesterday that is doubling for his pictures at school today.
