don't know if anyone else has heard this story, but it made me laugh (and I'm bored and want to post)

Sen Chuck Grassley (R-IA) was just on foxnews talking about how he responded to Sen Kent Conrad (D-ND) who was sparring with him during budget talks.  Apparently, the exchange went something like this:

Conrad to Grassley: "You know, I used to like you. Let me just say.  Oh, you are good."

Grassley to Conrad: "Well, your wife said the same thing."

lol  Turns out Sen Conrad's wife had introduced Grassley at some dinner or something and been highly complimentary of him.  Still, you can't make this stuff up.

That's what she said.
