I am used to Sawyer because I'm a LOST fan (even though on the show, it's his last name and a made up one at that, lol). I like Logan more but both names are fine- just not together.
I like Logan much better than Sawyer, but I like them both. Not so much together, but if YOU like it I don't think there's anything wrong or offensive with either of them.
I'm going to agree that a.) it doesn't flow all that great and b.) it sounds like a lumberjack, for sure.
I like both names individually but I think they would be suited much better if you picked one or the other and then a more traditional name to pair it with.
Logan James
Sawyer Joseph
etc.
Married in 2008 - DD born in 2010 - EDD 6.15.2012!

Ditto (except both Sawyer and Logan are NMS. They're not nearly as bad separately, though).
i really dislike the name Logan. Not sure why, but i really do. Sawyer is okay, too trendy/overdone, and they don't go well together. Overall definitely nms.
Is Sawyer really trendy/overdone? I guess I didn't realize that. Does anyone else think that?
Also, about it sounding like a lumberjack, is that a bad thing? The name means wood cutter I think...
I love the name Sawyer. It sounds so all american. I guess because of Tom Sawyer. I went to grade school with a boy named Sawyer and I always thought he was sooo cute.
For a boy???? Both of those names are now being used as girl names too, so you're totally picking 2 unisex names. Nobody will know the gender of your child on a resume. Back to the drawing board. Give a boy a male name!
Sorry, I really like Sawyer. It sounds like "saw your" to me. It wasn't in the top 1000 names until the writers of Lost used it as a unique name for a character. Then it suddenly skyrocked up the list. It sounds trendy and will be dated in my opinion.

That's what I was afraid of.
If we stayed with Sawyer, what would be a good middle name? I kind of want the middle name to end with en, on, an.... Our other 2 boys middle names are Mason and Owen. Any suggestions?
