Hey I was just thinking about you, how did your  job interview go yesterday.

Aww, you are so sweet!  The interview went great, he offered me a job!!  I start tomorrow, I am very excited!!!

How are you doing?

Yay that's great congrats. I'am doing fine at work of course just counting down to 11pm.

You work until 11pm!? why so late?

I work crazy hours sometimes I work 12hr shifts. Today my shift is from 11am-11pm. My normal shift is from 2:30-11pm, that's not so bad because I get to sleep in.

Do you work in a hosptial or urgent care clinic? 

Thats what I love about dental- 'normal' hours.

Yeah I work in a hosptial in the lab.

What kind of lab work do you do?  Do you take blood or just test it or?

I take it and prepared different specimens that need to be run.

I applied to be a phlembotomist- they never called, lol.  I thought it would be fun, do you like doing it?

BELOVEDCARMEL

Yeah I like it. You work at a dentist office what do you do. Do you like it.

Mrs.EmmaLouise

I assist.  So I set up rooms, assist the doc during procedures, clean the rooms, sterilize the instruments, stock- those kind of basic things.  But Im 'expanded functions'  So I can also do alot of extra stuff such as place sealants, make temporary crowns, make custom trays, make models, do alot of the steps for dentures, and lots of fun things. 

At my old job I also trained all the  new staff, subsituted for front desk, and insurence clerk, and did all the ordering.  So Im looking forward to having less responsibilites for more money and better benifits
