Hey there. How you feeling? I just saw your question below in the morning post, but being as it's far down, I figured I'd just post a new one. Here in NJ, I do the student's present levels for each subject, modifications by subject and behavior plan if needed. My kids are all in-class support so I don't have to write any academic goals for them, maybe an occasional behavior goal or an extended school year goal. When I worked in PA, I had to do the entire document and it sucked a big one. I even had to do the the IEP meeting invites, run the meetings, copy the IEPs and distribute them to all the necessary staff. It was crazy!
Re: Alpaca
I'm glad you don't have to do all the paperwork! At one point when I first started working I had to do the entire IEP...for some reason that was the social worker's job. It was awful! I had to do all that stuff too..the invites, copying & distributing...it sucked! Thank goodness things have changed and now I just have to show up with my social work goals and help with behavior plans and modifications. I hope you get all your stuff done soon, I know how good it feels to be done with all of that crap!
I'm feeling ok..as best as I can I guess. Just really really uncomfortable. I want to say I'm ready for the babies to come and just get done with this part, but it is also scary to think 2 newborns will soon be here! Yikes! So exciting and crazy. How are you doing? I hope you are feeling well and that things are going well.
