So, I am AWing because DH deemed Saturday, "Daturday" - and said it will be a regular day of the week now!!

 

Its so freaking cute. DH usually helps out with DD on the weekends a lot because he wants to keep me happy and knows I get so bored being a SAHM and having all the responsibility during the week. So Saturday he took DD all day long. I only BF'd once and pumped the rest so he could give her bottles and I could work on my thesis and hang out.

He went in to get E Sat morning when she woke up and said, in a cheery voice "Good morning! Are you excited for another Daturday?" When I asked him about it he explained that its dad & daughter day - da-t-urday - and he is going to replace Saturday with it from now on.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! (And I mean this in both uses of the word)

And he still took most of the responsibility on Sunday too!

I am wondering if I should "reset his clock" every Daturday now? WDYT? Lol!!

i say yes!! it will be a great end to both of your days! but i quite look forward to resetting the clock.. its still something i think about no matter how covered in puke i am.. lol
