PG people are everywhere — The Bump
Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

PG people are everywhere

I went to work today only to find my client 2 months pregnant and the attorney on the other side of the case exactly the number of weeks I would have been.  Then a stop at Target to count 6 very pregnant women.  What a day!

Plus its been 6w and 5 days since my D & C and still no AF, hard to move on when the body won't cooperate.

Re: PG people are everywhere

  • I feel  you.   I am going to patent rose-colored glasses that block out pg people... and infants.

    Sigh.

  • I completely agree!  I swear they are everywhere.  We have 4 friends that are pg, and everywhere I go I feel like they are the only people I see.  I miscarried the end of January and my cycles aren't back to normal yet.  It is frustrating but I know I just have to give it time.

  • I know, I feel like they are coming out of the woodwork.  I am hoping that all of us will soon not notice them some much any more. It would make this all a little easier.

  • It does see like they are everywhere I go.  Like they are following me just so they can mock me..  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I absolutely hate going to my Ob/gyn's office.  I had to go there three days after I lost Grace, and a pg woman sat down next to me moaning and complaining.  I lost it and had to walk out of the office.  I wanted to slap her into reality and say "I would give anything to still be pg with my baby and here you are complaining.  Be thankful for what you have!"  So frustrating.  At least the receptionist had pity on me and called me up to see if I was ok.  She then moved me to a private room in the back where I didnt have to be exposed to pg woman complaining!  I was very very thankful for that!

I am a married mom of 3 beautiful earthly DD's ages 15 yrs, 6 yrs and 11 months. I am the mom of 5 angel babies (CP, 7 wks, 8 wks, 18 wks, and 14 wks losses)

Truly makes you appreciate the pregnancy symptoms and aches and pains.  I (like all of us here) would give anything to have my nausea back.

So true!  I had to block a couple friends comments on Facebook b/c they are both pg and due any day now, so all their comments are about how they are so sick of being pregnant.  Really, really can't handle that right now!

  • I had to go back to Labor and Delivery after my d&c. Um yeah that's miscarriage hell. Totally horrible.  But it's my career, so I had to suck it up and move on.  I can say that I am able to relate to my miscarriage patients, and I find this helps to comfort them.

  • Hugs!  It took me 8 weeks to get AF after my 1st m/c.

I know what you think seeing PG ladies.  I was so resentful of all of them last time.

  • In the last week three people I know have given birth to their babies and about two weeks ago I have found out a co-worker's son and GF are having TWINS. Crazy...it's like my dad told me (which I'm not sure what to think of this comment) "it's like buying a car...you hardly saw them on the road before you bought it, but now that you own it you see them everywhere." He is right in some aspect, but come on, a car?
