I was breezing through last nights posts, and saw the weight one. I totally need to get my butt back in gear and loose weight too.
Anyone interested in doing a weight loss check in??? I'll head it up and we can cheer each other on etc.....
Sometimes having to "answer to someone" when dieting/exercising is a good motivator!
If there is interest, we should post suggestions for a name for our group and then we can go from there with deciding what days we want to do check in's etc.

Re: Anyone Interested in doing a Weight Loss Check In?
i have more than a little weight to lose (at least 30 lbs), and i wouldn't mind doing some sort of competition.
just let me know the details and anything i can do to help!
Mary/Meepit--
I love the biggest looser idea, it sounds fun and motivating!
I will RP this again later today/this evening-- hopefully some of the girls who posted last night will be interested as well.... It would be fun to get a decent size group of us on this!

Hi Ladies!
I think the post your talking about was mine from last night. After eating at Red Robin I felt like a total pig! I think the weightloss check-in is a great idea. I was going to post about this later today but i'm glad you did. I remember we did this before but the person who was in charge of them just quite posting them. Not sure what happened. Anyways, like a p.p, said it was girls that usually only had a couple pounds to shed, unlike me. I love the biggest loser idea so just keep me updated on the days you'll be posting the check-ins and all the details. GL to us losing weight!
ETA: Does anyone else think their weight is the reason they are not concieving? DH's swimmers are fine but i have PCOS. I know they say if you loose weight you can dramaticlly increase your chances. For whatever reason i continue to eat instead of exercise

Yeah, DH had an SA two weeks ago and got a passing grade. I have PCOS and am overweight (BMI 35.7 or so), so now it feels like it's all my fault. Metformin is helping lower the sugar cravings, though. I don't snack at night as much as I used to, and I've been good about working out the last 3 weeks. Haven't really lost anything yet, but haven't gained any, so trying to stay positive. A check-in sounds like a fun motivation to keep going.
count me in! I have more than 30lbs to lose, lots more.
I have PCOS too, and feel the same way. I was just telling a friend (saif'er) last night, that I dont know whats wrong with me. I keep saying its my weight, thats holding me back.. but I still reach for the coke and hot cheetos!
I am so mad at myself.
I think this is a great idea.. it would be better if we were closer. Then we could workout together too.
