DS hasn't slept in over a month??

So DS used to be an awesome sleeper. Which to me, meant I only woke up twice a night to nurse him and he slept in till 10am. Then, all of sudden, right at four months, this all came to a screeching halt. It's like he's become a newborn all over again, awake every few hours. He used to soothe himself, but that's kind of out the window now. I figure if he was teething, I'd see a tooth by now right? I've tried gas drops, they don't really make any kind of difference. Little Teethers will work every once and awhile, so his gums must be hurting, but this has honestly gone on for over a month now. He has one solid meal at dinner, cereal and a fruit/veggie.

I'm barely getting any sleep, nursing him 3-4x a night sometimes, waking up super early.... I'm holding on by a thread here! Help?? Where's my sleeping baby??

My DD does this also...starting at 4 mos. Every ONCE in awhile, she will sleep thru the night, but usually wakes up every hour or 2 crying. Im about to lose it. I have finally moved her into our bed because i was getting NO sleep at all. It takes me forever to fall asleep and as soon as i would start to doze off, she would start to cry. Hopefully it ends soon!!

Sounds like the 4 month wakeful period. DD went through it and for her it unfortunately lasted from 4-6.5 months. Some nights she only woke up once, some nights it was 10 times. It was brutal, but luckily just a (long) phase.
