I figure now's as good a time as any to tell you

My ex-MIL lived for like 10 years with a man and a woman.  They shared him and took turns in the bedroom with him.

I was BEYOND creeped out.  She saw nothing wrong with it, and listening to the two women casually discuss certain things....omg.

Well I'd be awfully confused if my devoutly Catholic MIL were that way.  She's flighty at times, but I'll take that any day over creepy
