Uneven c/s scar healing

Sooo this sounds really tame compared to the incision posts I've read before, what with the open wounds and funky smells. Mine is 3 months out and is really smooth and painless on the right side, but the left side is still pretty red/purple, hurts to the touch, and feels like there's a little ledge.

I've never had surgery before, so I don't know what to expect - Is anyone else's incision like this? The left side is also still itchy at times and I get random sharp pains there.

I get pain inside on the right side above the incision. But the scar itself is fine.  Is yours maybe forming a keloid?

I am only 3 weeks out- but I have a little ledge on the left and I am wondering if it is a little hernia- which can happen from any abdominal surgery.  I am hoping not- but I thought I would wait to ask my doc until my 6 week post op to see if it shrinks.  Maybe that is what you have?

Mine has a little uneven spot, maybe a tiny ledge, and is purple there.  My doc told me it was from when it was sewn back that part the skin didn't meet perfectly but it will eventually fix itself.

This sounds like the same thing.

Hot Mayo - I hope it's not a keloid, but I'm not too worried since I've never had one.
