My Dr. office called and said I have a UTI and to pick up antibiotics. I've never had one before, so I was googling them and they sound soooooo painful! I have ZERO of the symptoms that I read about. I would have never thought I had one if they hadn't called. Anyone else have this experience? The only reason I am paranoid that maybe my office got it wrong is because they confused me with another patient with my same first name in the waiting room the day of my appt. Anyway, just curious if a painless UTI exists?

Re: UTI and no idea?
This may be a really stupid question, but how did they know?
OK, so I guess it is common! That's what I get for letting google be my fact Bible! Thanks for the info, and putting my mind at ease!

Yes, after reading about it I hope to never have to experience that! I feel so bad for anyone that's had to deal with all those symptoms. suscq: that sounds horrible!
