where is my beautiful "Glow"

I am still waiting for that "Your Glowing" look. I have finally gotten over the numerous breakouts I was having, and now my skin is actually peeling. It looks like I am just getting over a bad sunburn on my face. WTF. I can't catch a break here.

Re: where is my beautiful "Glow"

  • Umm, I was wondering the same thing about the "glow". My skin has never looked this bad in my life! I look like a teenager with the number of red dots on my face. Ugh!

  • ha ha; I got that from DH but it was totally rude; i ran out of foundation and bought this cheap crap at rite aid before i could get to nordstrom and i makes me look greasy and "glowing" LOL I hope you get the good kind of glow comment!

Wish I could, so far anything other than BareMinerals has given me nice bright red hives. Oh the joys of having sensative skin.

  • one person has told me that im glowing this entire pregnancy so far and that day i swear to you i looked like cr@p. m/s had been kicking my ass all day and i was wearing no make up and my hair was greasy and a mess. i just looked at her and told her to shut up.

i think its just something people say to be nice

  • Any MAC "Mineralize" product on your cheek bones works wonders.  I have had many complete strangers ask me what I wear to make my skin "glow".  Pregnancy has really screwed up my skin too....but this is my favorite product to dust on before I head out the door!

I was actually just thinking about trying that. While I do love my BareMinerals (considering it is one that does not cause hives) it has not been laying as nice on my new PG skin.

  • Christmas Day we were going to see family but we hadn't told the family yet about the BFP.  I already had bloat and less than wonderful stomach muscles from the first pg, so I looked a little pg already.  I tried on half of my closet trying to find something that hid the belly.  I finally found something that I thought might work and I asked DH how I looked.  He replied "You look wonderful. You're glowing"  Not helpful DH, not helpful.

You will LOVE it!!  I have sworn by it since my wedding day and don't think I have gone a day since without it.  :)
