FRUSTRATIONS!!!

in 2nd Trimester
So I go for my 20 week visit next Monday and called to see if my ultrasound would be on the same day as my appointment...they said it is not scheduled then and cannot be scheduled until that day...the next available U/S is the first week of MAY.  So dissappointing!!  I'll at least be 25 weeks by then!

    That's odd.  Did they not mention any of that when you set up this appointment? At my last appointment 4 weeks ago, we went over what the next one would entail (it's in 2 days) and that it's my big u/ns.  If she hadn't mentioned my big u/s I would have asked when I scheduled it.

    I would be PISSED! 

    I changed doctor's at 19 weeks and my new doctor called the specialist's office the same day she saw me and got my big u/s scheduled for later that day.  If I were in your shoes, I would definitely be calling back and pointing out that by the time they get around to your big u/s that you'll be 25 weeks!!

    I would be more then frustrated! I would be pissed! how where you suppose to know this!

    If its the baby sex you wanted to find out, I could wait long so I asked my doctor how she felt about paying for a ultrasound to find out the sex. she was all for it and gave me a great place to go. it was $97 and I got a dvd of the whole thing and pictures. I don?t know if they have one where you live but I went to https://www.firstviewultrasound.com/

    it was such a wonderful and caring place!

    Also they did look for anything that should be concerning with the baby, and if there was they are required to call your doctor.

    We went to a radiologist center (or something like that) for ours.  Insurance still covers it and the doctor still gets all of the pictures.  Is there one in your area that you can go to?

    How annoying! My dr.'s office automatically includes the u/s at the 20- something week appointment. Make sure you get on a cancellation list or something in case something comes up earlier that you can grab
