Uh, no thanks.  We really need to do it before listing in May, but I can't see spending that much money on something we're already going to be in the hole for because of housing prices.

get another quote that seems like alot,  lots of contractors are beggin for work around here,  you may be able to get a good discount if you keep looking

We have another guy coming over on Wednesday or Thursday to look at it too.  Hopefully he'll be cheaper.

Wow. We just had our floor done for $500. Granted, our bathroom is small (50 sq ft), it was just the floor, and they did a crappy job, but $2500 sounds like a lot.

my DH just re-tiled every inch of our bathroom (walls, shower, floor, ceiling).    I'll send him over - he works cheap.    Warning:  it took him 9 months.

Ouch. Hopefully in this competitive market, you will get a better quote this week. We are shopping around for new gutters and have seen a large range of quotes.

Yeah, our bathroom is not big by any means.  50 square feet sounds close to it.  I really couldn't believe the quote either.  His labor was $1500 alone.

If that was the case I wish we could be paid for labor.

The labor is what will get you with tiling work. Hopefully you can find a better quote.

We have redone two of our bathrooms in tile. It is a tedious process.

We are getting ready to do ours as soon as we decide if we are selling this house or not.  If we sell we are only doing the floor. If we stay here we are gutting the place and starting over.
