announced pg AND twins?

when you announced that you were expecting did you also annouce that you were having twins? or did you wait til later for that?

We told people both at the same time since we found out at 8 wks.  We didn't tell anyone except our parents until 11 wks though since I had had a m/c previously.

We announced everything at the same time.

I told my family when I was 5 wks. I found out I was having twins at 7wk. And I told them as soon as we found out. I was in shock!!!!

When I announced to work I did both at the same time (just after 13 weeks I think?).

I said "I'm pg and the twins are due right before Christmas".

The family who knew we were going through IVF knew when we found out we were pregnant and then we added the twin part when we found out.  For other people, we announced both at the same time.

I did, but I drew it out to let them know I was pregnant, let them absorb that shock first, and then told about how cool it was to have our first ultrasound and get to see the baby ... and the other baby.

Oh, and I found out I was pg right at 4w and found out I was having twins at 12w. I had told family and close friends before the u/s so they got two separate announcements. I'd planned to wait till the second tri to tell most people anyway, so almost everyone ended up getting the double announcement.

We told everyone by 7 weeks that I was pg. However, I did not find out until almost 16 weeks that I was having twins so we couldnt announce at the same time. If I had known twins from the start, I would have announced both.
