3 hour glucose question...

My dr. called today and said I had slightly elevated blood sugar after taking my 1 hour test and said I have to go back tomorrow for the 3 hour. Has anyone here done the 3 hour test and had it come back NORMAL and showing no signs of GD? I hope that's the case for me. Just curious if EVERYONE has a slightly elevated sugar count after the test and the dr.s make you take the next test just to be sure...

I'm a carbaholic and don't think I can handle changing my diet for the last three months of pregnancy :)

    Yes, I passed the 3hr after failing the 1 hr.  Stop with the carbs and go on protein and complex carbs (limited) until your test.  Be well-hydrated before because usually they won't let you drink after.  It's common to fail the 1hr and pass the 3hr.  And no -- plenty of people also pass the 1 hr and never have to take the 3hr.
