I think I am done, but I was wondering what others felt was the one must have baby product on their registry (aside from furniture, swing, high chair, stroller)? I guess I am looking for those things that you wouldn't normally think of.
Just as a side note, I am using my registry as a big ole shopping list too.
Re: Registeries: One Must Have Item?
mine is more of a shopping list too.
A baby carrier was a must for me. And so was a sun shade for the rear window in my car
I know you said one, but can I suggest two?
The AngelCare monitor and at least 3 Ultimate Crib sheets.
Great post...I'm excited about responses from actual mommies that aren't in the dark like us!
I wouldn't call this a must have, but I fell in love with this mirror in the carseat section that you position on the headrest of the backseat, and you can see baby's face from your rearview. I think it's cute b/c babies like to look at themselves, too.
Also, my SIL has a 16 month old and says she uses Wet Wipes all the time. She keeps them in the car, diaper bag, etc. so that they're always handy.
Last piece of advice from my MIL and other moms: it's really hard to know how your baby will fit into some things, and since our babies will convieniently be reaching high chair stage just after Christmas, she said that some things you may want to wait until you can try out with baby, and put them on a Christmas list. I've heard a lot of feedback from parents that high chairs have a wildly different fit, and since we won't know how big/tall our babies are, it may be best to wait so that we don't end up with a bad fit.
