Leaking fluid or normal discharge?

I wasn't sure what board to ask this on but since my BFP I have had excess discharge. I know this is normal but I am wondering how common it is to leak fluid and how would I know if it was that vs. discharge? (I had an ultrasound at 6w5d & everything was fine but I don't go back until the 7th.)

Thank you. I didn't know this. It doesn't smell sweet so maybe I am just being paranoid.

You will have a lot of discharge while you're pregnant.  Sometimes it feels like I about wet my pants.  My mom said if you're leaking you will most likely be certain of it.

I *was* doing really good with the worrying bit but I think I need to stop hanging out on 1st trimester. I know I am still in my 1st trimester but seeing so many people have miscarriages after having a late loss myself (31 weeks) terrifies me!
