A simple yes or no would be fine. No snark needed. Sometimes I wonder if some of you have nothing better to do.
I got a Rx for a z-pac last week when I SAW MY DOCTOR :::gasp:::: but didn't have the ear infections- had the end stages of brochitis. I got it filled last week, just haven't picked it up yet (I will be doing that today, for those that need to know!) The coughing has stopped, but I didn't know if I needed to call and get a different anti-biotic for ear infections. HAPPY???? gawd....
I worked for Hospice for 5-years as a registered nurse.
When you're referring to as ?z-pak? I?m assuming you?re referring to the medication zithromax? If yes, the answer is yes it helps fight bacteria within the body that have been used for ear infections.
Is it safe to take during pregnancy that I?m not sure of you may want to call your local pharmacy.
You need to call your regular physician or OB to discuss this further; I personally would not take a prescription medication until your OB OK'ed it. Very important!
