so... according to this ticker... (I know .. not very promising... but still...) it says that I could find out now... true or false?

 

I know its a day ahead of my tickers in my siggy... this was before they changed my due date.. by one day... I just haven't fixed it yet

Eh.  You can find out at 15 weeks and they will most likely be correct but I would just wait a few more weeks to be sure.  But if they make a guess at 15 weeks, they're probably right.

The "big" ultrasound is not about finding out the sex! The anatomy scan is much more than that.

Anyways, yes, after 15-16weeks sex of the baby is visibile if the baby cooperates.

I'm sure there's a chance... but I think the earlier you find out, the greater chance you have of the guess being wrong, or the baby not cooperating. But hell, I'm going back for another u/s in about three weeks, and I'm having them double check for me... I always like second looks... lol.

I had a U/S at 15 weeks and they said that they thought it was a boy (he had his legs crossed and a cord through the legs) and it was confirmed at 16 weeks.

ok. because I have a dr appt on friday and I will be 15 wks 3 days and I just want to make sure they dont do it too early. we have to pay for our ultrasounds (i'm 99%) sure.. and they're kinda expensive... so I dont want to do one this week if they are going to do another one at the next visit... just because its not included with our costs... and thats another couple 100 bucks... I mean, of course if its for the safety of the baby, then yes. but if they dont NEED to do it and they want to do it then and then again at the next visit.. I'm not so good with that
