2nd Trimester

WAL-MART

Some of you may remember from last week my issues with not being able to register. Wal-mart is the only NON-ONLINE choice in my area, and now there registry is down.

Well, I talked to the manager this morning, and he appreciated my letter very much, he is actually very frustrated about it also. He recived several other letters and will be forwarding them all to corporate, in the hopes of having the registry system back up by the first part of August insteat of the 6 to 9 months I was originally told. Which does not help me but I have come to terms with it...I have registered online with BRU, and have added the things I was hoping to get from wal-mart (plain onesies, bottles, etc.) and DH has said if we have to spend more than we planned as a result of Wal-mart not having a registry then we will do it.

What can I say my hormones got the best of me last week.

Re: WAL-MART

  • I can see how that situation is very frustrating.  Thankfully, the manager was nice, and you can see its not his fault.  Sometimes corporate just really doesnt think.

  • I know what you mean!!!  DH and I went to go register at walmart last week and she said there system was outdated and you cannot create or print off registries, becuase every walmart in our area is super or is currently going super and she said it would be back up when our w-m went super and I asked when that would be and she said prob. around Christmas or later.  Ohhh I hate walmart sometimes!!

  • is this every where or just certain states? and can you register online people just can't print it out in the store?
  • i was told and have read on here that they were taking in store registry completely out.  that it would only be available online.  which I think would be a HUGE mistake on walmarts part.
