Hi ladies.. I could use some support.. A little background info..I'm 38 now, have one healthy little four year old son. Last year I was pregnant and during the first tri screen found out the baby might have T21. A cvs test confirmed the results. We found out she had a fatal heart defect and was "imcompatable with life". We terminated the pregnancy in April. We are expecting again, cautiously. I'm currently 8 weeks and getting ready for another CVS test in two weeks and I'm petrified.
You'll be fine. The chances of something like that happening are so teeny tiny. We ended my 2nd pregnancy after an amnio confirmed T21. I know what you are feeling. I'm PG again and I did not have a CVS or an amnio. The doc said it would be like lightening striking twice.
You'll definitely be in my thoughts. This is my first pregnancy so I can't offer much advice. However, I definitely agree with Blue and hope everything goes well today. Please check back in and let us know how it went!
I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and sending positive thoughts and good vibes your way. I'm sure the next few weeks will be rough, but whenever you need to vent or some support just post here.

I understand how scary that must be! I think you'll both be okay, though, it's such a rare disorder!
