TTC #1 since November 2007
First RE appointment May 13, HSG 5/17- tubes are clear, SA - very good, FSH 6.8,
rubella immunity, saline sonogram 7/2 - uterine polyps, hysteroscopy date FINALLY 9/4! Blood pressure and thyroid are under control! Come on BFP!!!!

IUI#1 1/14 , AF=BFN 1/28, IUI #2 3/9, AF=BFN 3/20
Cycle 20 IVF #1 = BFP!!! Beta #1- 196 Beta #2- 784
Egg retrieval 5/1 - 11 eggs! Update 5/2 - 9 mature, 7 fertilized!
Embryo transfer 5/6 - transferred 2 beautiful blasts and have one snowbaby
Induction scheduled for 01/11/10 - 38 weeks, 1 day
April 3, 2012 FET with snowbaby (identical twins) BFN and a big broken heart
Moving on to DE
8/2012-Donor chosen! 9/2012-12/2012-Donor passed all testing, off BC pills, waiting to complete 2 full cycles. 12/16/2012-cannot move forward with donor, cycles not regulating. 12/17-New proven donor 1/11- started Lupron on our baby boy's 3rd birthday

I know there are only a few of you on here that have been through this, but any thoughts on what to expect would be appreciated! ?I am eager to get on with it but nervous as hell! ?I am very curious if there will be further testing at this point. ?I also want to know what protocol he will think best for us. ?I am a good responder, so I am assuming he will go with the long Lupron protocol but who knows! ?I do hope that somehow good responder translates to less drugs and less $$! ?That would be great!!!

Hey Indy! It's been a a while since I've been on. I popped in to see how things were going with you and you had this post up here. I new quite a bit about the IVF process from my sisters, so my IVF consult was nothing unexpected. RE explained the entire IVF process (we went straight to IVF, so he did not explain differences between IVF and IUI. I found out more information from my phone conference with the IVF nurse.
I had testing done on day 4 of my cycle and then they put me on BCPs for 21 days. Your RE should tell you if they do BCPs prior to IVF. ONce out initial fertility work-up was done, I've only had to do U/S and B/W for IVF.
My protocol for my 1st IVF was antagonist and I stimmed way too fast. RE had no way of knowing how I would react to the drugs. Now, for the 2nd cycle we are doing Lupron - I'm not sure if it's "long lupron", but I had started it 1 week before stims started and am still on it and I'm on day 6 of stims.
