how soon do you start AF after D&C?

I had my D&C this past Thurs and only had bleeding Thurs and Fri.  Now I just wear a pantyliner and have nothing.  I was shocked that I didn't have more bleeding than this!  My dr said it could last up to 2 wks!  Anyone else not have much bleeding?

Just curious - I hear it could take 4-6 wks to have a period?  Do you think I could have mine sooner just since the bleeding stopped so soon?

It's so variable. I am at 10 weeks (almost 11) and still no AF.  Good luck.  Hope it's soon to return.  Average is about a month after your d&c.

Just a warning... I had my D&C on Monday of last week and just bled like a freak today.... passed some clots even... apparently there is no rhyme or reason... just our bodies:)  arg.

My doctor said ideally it would be 4-6 weeks, but could be up to 3 months for AF to start before he would be worried.  Luckily, I started 31 days after my D&E.  Good luck to you!

I didn't have much bleeding (1 heavy day with clotting/tissue, 1 medium day, 1 light day, 2 spotting days) - mine was a natural m/c, not a d&c though.

My doc also said 4-6 weeks until my period, but like the other girls says, it really varies a lot!

I think I bled lightly for about a week, and then I got AF exactly a month after my D&C.  Good luck

It has been three and a half weeks since my D&C (25 days).  The first two days I had very light spotting, nothing since.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I am going back to a regular cycle.... AF should show up this Thursday.  I've been cramping since last Thursday, which isn't normal for me.  But I've heard that AF can be a real b*tch this cycle.  Can't wait for her to do her thing so we can look forward to TTC again!

I had light to moderate bleeding for 7 or so days after my d&c, and off and on spotting for another week.  I got my period 30 days after the d&c.

I am still waiting for AF...28 days after D&C. ?I also did not bleed very much after this one, only about 4 days and it was pretty light.

I am coming in late on this, but I got my AF exactly 30 days after my D&C.  And my bleeding after D&C was sparatic, I would bleed real heavy, then nothing, then it would come back again...  Dont be suprised if you start bleeding again before AF...

First D&C it took 9 weeks for AF to return, Second D&C it only took 5 weeks.  GL.

I had very minimal bleeding for only a few days after my D & C and its been 6 w 4 d since and still no AF for me.  GL to you!
