Medela PIS Backpack or Shoulder Bag

We're set on this pump but were leaning towards the backpack. I just found the backpack on sale only and wasn't sure if one was preferred over the other. Between the sale price and a coupon I have I can get it for $225 (marked at $279).

I have had both. I had the shoulder bag one when I borrowed one from my cousin. I purchased my own PIS backpack.

They were the same exact thing. No difference. I prefer the backpack because it is easier to carry and it doesn't really scream breastpump.

I have the PISA Metro and really like it b/c the pump can be moved around alot easier without the entire bag. ?The bag can also be used for whatever you want once you're no longer pumping

I debated this for a long time before purchasing too. My commute requires about a mile walk each way, and I find that using the backpack and carrying a tote bag for all my work stuff is perfect.

I have the metro PISA cause i loved the idea of having a removable motor and been putting in a backpack style diaper bag cause the metro bag is too big and heavy for me to use it every day so if I was to do it again, i would get the backpack PISA and save the extra $$$.

I like the backpack because I always have too much stuff to carry.  I've never needed to take the pump out of the bag, so that's not an issue for me.
