I just got back from a wonderful time with DH in Atlanta. ?We only went overnight, but it was just what we needed! We went to the aquarium and the coke museum... so fun!
We took one the end of Feb and it was great. We went to Mexico and being able to relax and get in some warm weather was definitely what we needed. MH works very long hours and travels so we needed that time together.
We just MOVED to Japan last week, so I'm sure we will be doing some fun sight-seeing here (before baby and over the 3 years we are stationed here). I guess it isn't really a baby-moon, as it is a permanent change, but we certainly don't need to go here and then travel somewhere else, when there are so many new things to see/do right at our new home. We will have the option to space a fly to Thailand, Singapore, Australia, etc. and plan on doing that sometime as well.?
We don't have a traditional babymoon planned, but DH and I are driving down to visit my family for Easter and then in June, we will visit his family. We are also planning a day trip to Schlitterbaun in New Branfels, TX around my birthday! (for anyone who has no idea what this is...google it...its the BEST water park).

Just got back from one today (Ahwahnee in Yosemite) and we're taking 5 more over the next 6 weeks!
Big Sur - Post Ranch Inn Bahamas - One & Only Ocean Club Napa - Calistoga Ranch Palm Springs - Second Home Costa Rica - Private Villa
Big fan of the babymoons.
Wow Jax, you are quite the lucky one! Do you have the hook-ups with a travel agency or lots of airline miles? hehe you're gonna be so relaxed by the time baby comes.

Ha ha, no, I just use the pregnancy-guilt with DH now and it works beautifully. Plus, it's ridiculously cheap to fly right now and hotels are more and more willing to go out of their way to whine and dine you. It's awesome.
Honestly, I picked up a copy of Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast's Top Resorts and Hotels, highlighted a couple of hotels nearby and then proceeded to guilt DH into booking them. I highly suggest my technique.
I'm all over this babymooning thing! We have a couple short trips close to home planned but we're going to Hawaii in May too which I"m so excited about!
