My baby naming experience last night

Last night I went to Barnes & Nobel to sit down and read a few baby naming books. ?Four hours later I emerged with a list of about 10 names. ?I came home and shared them with DH and now we're back to square one....no name for our little girl. ?Some of them sounded better in the book store lol.

Aww.  I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time with names.  I got really lucky because my BF and I both agreed on names pretty quickly.  Don't give up!  Keep at it, you'll know it once you hear it.

95% of the names I liked when reading books/lists DH immediately nixed, although the other 5% generally resulted in our short list.

I had a similar experience. ?I brainstormed for a few hours and when I told DH the names, he basically said they were all gay! haha... but we finally chose one we both like.

We both agreed on a boy's name so easily. ?In fact we decided on a boy's name years ago. ?Problem is, we're having a girl lol. ?Girl names are so hard!

DH and I sat on our computers one night just shouting out names while browsing baby name sites. We both shot so many of eachother's names down so fast, it wasn't even funny. We just chose a name but it was so hard!
