I am finally showing more this week then what appears to be a beer gut so I am wearing more fitting shirts hoping to get one.  ha-ha-ha.  I think it is ridiculous -- but funny enough to share because I am sure I am not the only one!

Today at church - twice!  One asked when I was due, the other asked if I was pregnant. 

They are lucky I'm pregnant because I had no clue who they were, and if it was just a food baby I'd be pissed!

I just bought three maternity shirts that help make me look pg.

I'm going to wear them to work soon, so I'm sure people will take notice.

13 weeks! I was actually kind of sad about it. I was showing early (and expected to since it's #2) but I didn't want to start answering questions that early!

I was talking to a mom of a 6-week old at work the other night (I was waiting on her table) and I mentioned I was pg....

She goes "Oh, I didn't know you were pg"...

Ummmm, yeah, lol. I KNOW my belly doesn't look like a beer gut, and I'm not fat, LOL.

Well, this is my third in a fairly short amount of time. And I look a bit bigger than I am. So my first comment from someone besides a friend, family or co-worker was, "Oh, are you having twins?" FYI... no, I am not having twins.

I got one and was so embarrassed to tell them I was 12 weeks.    I explained to them I was just bloated.

I was 19 weeks.  A parent of a former student that I hadn't seen in a while pointed to my stomach and said, "Is that a baby?!"  I so wanted to tell her no, but I played nice.

surprisingly last week a random person at the hospital (some pt's family) asked if I was expecting. It really surprised me cause it's really hard to tell under the scrubs!  Oddly enough one of my patients asked if I had any kids yet, and I replied we had one on the way. He told me he noticed I had a belly but just thought I was "pleasantly plump". Thanks. I too have been wearing more form fitting clothes when out of work so I don't just look fat and frumpy but actually pregnant.

I was 19 weeks.  I wore one of my longer fitted shirts from before I was pregnant to work and that did it.  4 different people asked that day!

I did last week at Taco Mayo but I think it was bc my pants and stomach were bothering me and she saw the band. Then she gave me a huge meal and drink for $2. Thinking I might try that more often.

I am also wearing more tight fitting maternity shirts, looking less "flabby" and more pregnant, but I have not gotten ANY stranger comments...and I'm kind of glad...:)

Yesterday, amusingly enough since I've been showing since about 18 weeks. We were in Sanrio and a salesgirl came up and asked how far along I was. Then proceeded to tell me how cute I am (or maybe she just meant the bump). It was nice.

I've had semi-strangers (vet tech) comment too, but yesterday was the first full on stranger comment. ?

Last week!  A customer said, "Is this your first?"  I had no idea what he was talking about, so I looked up from the paperwork, and he pointed at his stomach.  I said, "Yes!  You're the first person to notice!"  Haha... my face got all red too.

Last week I had one from a semi stranger. She is a patient that I see every six months and she asked when I was due but then said it was the way I was standing when I looked at her chart and that after I stood straight she thought "oh she isn't as big as I thought maybe I shouldn't have asked".lol.  I will have to switch to maternity scrubs soon because I am tall and my bella band is really showing under all my scrub tops now. So I am sure I will get a lot more comments at work after I switch.

my FI is a teacher and I work with his students every week, last week after witnessing multiple whispers a student finally approached me and asked if I was pregnant.  Apparently there's been ongoing debate over if I am pregnant or just gaining ALOT of weight. 

Yesterday FI and I went to see Ellis Paul in concert, he was the first person out of our "circle"  to actually touch the belly and comment on it!
