I must ditto, although I understand the general stereotypes of prisons and prisoners. I am a huge advocate of prison reform, and many people would be beyond surprised to hear how many people are in prison for years for the silliest things. As a country, we imprision more people than any other country, and we do not have the largest population. It makes my heart hurt.

This was what I thought also. I think that the fact that the teenage daughter had to "leave suddenly" leaving a toddler alone is way worse than leaving him with minimum security prisoners. Besides, wouldn't there have been at least one security guard left with them as well?
