I would duct tape Emme's pacifier to her mouth so she would actually sleep today!  lol  She wakes up everytime it falls out and then the second I put it back in, she's out again.  Silly girl needs a good nap!

Haha, I know the feeling.  Soon she'll be able to keep it in there long and stronger. THEEN (and this is wonderful) she'll be able to put it back in her mouth by herself!!

DS NEVER would keep one in... ever ever.  In some ways, I'm glad because then I never had to break him of it and he can self soothe REALLY well.  But at the same time, that would be such an easy thing to do to calm him down.

OMG you just reminded me... A teacher in my district got canned bc she put tape on a kids mouth bc he was talking too much. 

(Is it terrible that I don't think it's that bad?  The mom wasn't even upset about it.)

I understand the inclination.?

There are kids who go to the emergency room only to have CPS called for this more often than you want to guess. I know of at least one suffocation death caused by this. ?

OMG!  I LOVE IT!  I also don't think it's that bad...although I would never do it.  I joke with my kids and tell them I am going to either glue their chair to the floor because it's always in the middle of the room or glue their bottoms to the chair because they won't stay in their seat.
