Cripes.  I AM sad I missed that one.  Alas, it's a bit too late to play on that thread.

Yeah...I totally put a limit on how much weight I could gain.  Because the baby and my body are reaaaaally going to listen to that.

And when I go over it by .4 lb, I shall fling myself onto the bed and cry for a week straight..

Yeah, I understand hoping to stay within healthy limits, but what is the point of setting a max? If you reach that max and are, say, 30 weeks, do you just stop eating for the next 10 weeks and not gain any more, baby's growth be damned?

She must not have cankles. My cankles have (SERIOUSLY) gained about 10-ish lbs on their own. Im not exaggerating. This number increases/decreases daily.

wow...here I am just struggling to eat because I have been so sick, and there are girls out there who are "dieting" during pregnancy....

seriously...who the eff cares how much anyone gains as long as their babies are healthy?  some ladies have really lost their perspectives!

It's hard enough to try and eat healthy most of the time, let alone to *set a max* , LOL.

This is why I found it rather annoying. I think I'm going to starve myself now because I went over the limit of 35 lbs.

oh, and dgurl26...I LOVE your method of testing out baby equipment!  we would totally do that with our furbabies, but unfortunately a husky is over the weight limit for most newborn furniture!
