I'm sorry if this is one of those dumb questions.  The search function wasn't helpful .  This might be a little TMI for some.

So... my husband came home after being gone for 3 weeks.  So we had sex for the first time in awhile last night.

This morning I woke up with wet spots on my shirt.  I am leaking!!  At 22 weeks!  WTF!?  Is this normal?  This is my first pregnancy that has gotten this far so I am clueless. 

I guess I wasn't expecting this until closer to the end.

I did not start leaking until after DS was born and have not had any issues with DD yet.  But, I have heard from several women that they began leaking sometime in 2nd tri.  I think it is one of those "different for everybody" answers.  GL and try sleeping with a nursing pad in your bra.  (Yes I still sleep with a bra on b/c it is comfy and the ladies hurt in the am if I don't!)

yup. it happens. same thing with me (minus the sex!) two mornings in a row i leaked right through my shirts. eck. thankfully, it didn't last too long, but not looking forward to it happening again.

I only mention the sex since it happened the morning after and it had been awhile .  Somewhere I remember reading that orgasm can cause leakage....  I just don't remember the whole "it can happen when you are barely halfway through pregnancy" part!!

DH and I had sex three times yesterday and it had been over a week (he works out of town, I am not being stingy) and I didn't have any leaking.

I started leaking at 16 weeks. My midwife said it's just my body getting ready for bf'ing... I'll prolly be an over producer. yay...

I have not started leaking yet (this is my first baby), but I can tell you that there are a lot of girls in 3rd tri who have been leaking...so you're perfectly normal!

Also, I was on pelvic rest from week 19 to week 29, so mine have not been orgasm induced either. 

Ditto the PPs suggestion to get some nursing pads and sleep in a bra (I actually sleep in a cami with a built in bra and put them in that)

oh dear...i didnt think it would happen until after the birth...i am not leaking anything yet...

At my big u/s at 19 weeks they noticed my placenta was sitting on top of my cervix (placenta previa) and so they put me on pelvic rest (no sex, heavy lifting, strenuous exercise, etc.) so I didn't do anything that would agitate the placenta and cause it to potentially start bleeding. I had my follow-up ultrasound at 28 weeks and then had to wait for my OB appt. at 29 weeks to get the word from my doc that I was "all clear" and that it had moved far enough away.

Actually the same thing happened to me. MH has been working out of the country since January. I went out to see him about three weeks ago and BAM- major leaking the next morning. I was wearing his t-shirt too! Good thing he thought it was funny!

Completely normal - I think I noticed a leak around 22w as well...but it didn't happen very often.  If it makes you feel better, I didn't really start noticing consistent leaks until last week.

I have been leaking since 17 weeks! My OB said it is completely normal that some woman just start to leak sooner than others!
