So many changes

Of course I expect certain things to change because I am having another baby but something that I didn't realize is that DS is turning into quite a little person!  He is just over 19 months old and he is already learning the alphabet!  Whaaa?!  I cannot believe that a year ago, he wasn't even walking or talking and now he can identify letters!  We were shopping yesterday and as we were walking into JCPenny, he looked up and said, "P!"  He was so proud of himself, he starting clapping and laughing!  Which, of course, made me cry.  (This is just one of many examples, but I won't make you read through all of it!)  I knew these things were going to happen eventually, but I just thought that he could stay little for a little bit longer!

Okay, pity party over.

They grow up before your eyes.  My DD is going to be in 3rd grade next year.  The time just goes..

Thats exciting! Its amazing to see them change. One of my good friends daughter is going to be a year in April and it just amazes me how much she has grown.

Wait until this one gets a little older and starts developing ten times faster than your first! I have a love hate relationship with Gabe's vocabulary, I LOVE to hear him talk so clearly but I HATE that he's growing up so fast. I keep saying that if I weren't having another I'd have baby fever so bad DH would never get sleep lol!

I realize that having a healthy child is nothing to b!tch about and I have done everything possible to freeze these images in my mind, but it is definitely one of life's bittersweet moments.  I am as proud and sad as I can be of the little man that he is becoming!  Gawd, I'm tearing up again just thinking about it.  Okay, seriously, I have to stop!
