Babies on the Brain

No Excuses

DH and I have spent the entire day in the bed, on the sofa, in the shower watching movies, sleeping, etc. It's 9pm and we are just now eating dinner...which is actually breakfast food. ::sigh::

There are no excuses for this type of behavior despite the depressing rainy day. We are adults and totally shirked our responsibilities. Double time on cleaning the house and grocery shopping tomorrow since I was a totally lazy bum today.

  • There's nothing wrong with that!
  • You need one of those every once in a while.  Sounds like you needed it :)
Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.
  • It's nice to have a day like that once in a while.

  • I suppose...I'm just running through my head all the things I could have done and stressing a tadbit: clean the birdcage, steam clean the carpet, defrosted the freezer, mucked stalls, planted seed trays, replaced boards in the barn the horses kicked down....things that we don't get done on pretty days because we are fixing fences, clearing land, etc.

Oh well. It was nice and I do have a couple vacation days in two weeks I can make up for it!
