How do you throw up quietly?

I don't really care when I'm at home or in a parking lot hanging out the car door, but I was in McDonalds today, and I had to throw up, only I didn't want to be loud in there (maybe i'm the only one that feels that way, not sure), and I waited until someone left, then went in there and started once the loud hand dryer kicked on, but was having difficulty doing it quietly.

I can't keep it quiet. ?lol, but when the puke is sitting in your throat, does it really matter who hears?

You know I tried to tell myself the "who cares" part, but still couldn't convince myself that. I don't know why.

We have a gigantic single pane window in our bathroom that is on the stairway wall and there are two units upstairs. People are walking up and down all the time. Going to the bathroom noisily is bad enough. I'm going to have to issue a neighborhood apology if I start wretching.

I have a really hard time even dry heaving quietly, so I don't even bother trying.

ha ha ha; I love this question. I just had this convo with DH. I am the most un-graceful thrower-upper there is. I sound like I am dying.

i had to do this once. sooo gross but i would throw up in my mouth and then spit it in the toilet.

shoot, i was hoping for some tips, lol.  I am so loud and my vomit is like multiple projectle missels.
