hey gals...I'm planning on ebf'ing my LO when he/she comes. My question for you though is if DH or babysitter needs to feed, have any of you used the Breastflow bottles? The customer reviews on BRU are good and I was considering registering for them. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with these bottles or if you LO prefered another brand. TIA!

Re: Question from a 2nd tri gal about bf and bottles
cat81305 used them. She's on the local Cinci board (not sure about any others). I know she liked them a lot. She was going to use Dr. Brown's until she found those.
That being said, I do agree with the pp. Don't stock up on any one type of bottle until after the baby gets here. I bought a set of Avent before DS came just so I would have some. They worked alright, but I wound up buying a ton of Dr. Brown's. (I EP, so DS is bottle fed EBM).
I had Avent bottles and Dr. Browns and DS wouldn't use either of them. Or the Medela bottles that came with the pump.
We ended up using Playtex drop ins. So easy and I don't feel so bad about the waste of the liners because we don't use that many.
We use them and swear by them. They look like they would be annoying with all the parts but honestly, it's just like having an extra nipple, that's all. It was the only bottle my LO would take at 4.5 months when we started getting him ready for DC. That being said, your LO will end up telling you which one they will take. So don't purchase more than one of a few different kinds and depending on which one (s)he likes is which one you'll end up purchasing a bunch of.
