tmi: swollen "lips"

sooooo this is def TMI but i don't care.  you're given fair warning...

i was showering this morning and washing down there and it was quite tender.  then i also notice one side is definitely swollen and a bit painful to the touch... 

is this normal?  do i call my dr about this?  i have an appt tues for my first internal anyway so i figured i could ask then. or should i ask now???

Normal. You have an increase of blood flow down there...being pregnant makes everything puffy lol.

I had a wax this morning and was checking out the job when I got home and couldn't believe how swollen things are down there

Yes, it is normal. My NP told me mine were a little swollen at my appt. a few weeks ago.

Its normal, I had this a lot in my 2nd tri. My dr. told me it was something I had to deal with and if it was that painful to wrap up an ice pack and sit on it for a little bit!

everything down there is swollen on me.  I thought I had a UTI because of my urine coming out slowly about 10 weeks ago...turns out it was/is a swollen vagina and it's kept up.

Before my last internal (so, 2 days before I went into labor) I was cleaning up down there and was quite frightened by this, too!  I will refrain from more details other than "hamburger and bun".   A week after delivery and things are near normal again.
