Anyone not have any BH or contrxns before labor?

I am almost at my due date and kind of discouraged b/c I don't think I've had any BHs or contractions that I can feel. I get some pressure from her head and some shooting pains, but that's just her dropping I think. Just wondering if I could still go into labor soon.

Me. I had BH but the last week or so before DD was born I had no BH. It can happen over night, too. I went to the dr on Tuesday and 39 weeks 1 day and had no progress. 4 days later I started having contractions and Sunday morning went to L&D. She was born that night. It's hard waiting and hard to not get discouraged. I hope it happens soon for you!! GL!

I had none and went into labor 9 days early. I had total back labor, so I never actually had the stomach hardening type of contractions.

i had both for THREE WEEKS before actual labor. hth

I never felt any sort of contraction until the day before I delivered.

I did not have any that I knew of until I actually was in labor.

I had zero contrax until 10 min. before my water broke at 37 weeks 6 days. I also had very little progress at my appt the day before. It can happen!

I had sporadic and painless BH and the type of shooting pains you describe. When we were sent to L&D after flunking the NST (at 40w 4d), I was having regular, totally painless contractions and was at 3-4cm. I could only tell they were happening when looking at the monitor. The first contractions I could feel were at 5cm after my MW broke my water and the baby was born a few hours later. GL!
