diaper genie

Whose using a diaper genie, or something like it.  Anybody have any recommendations as far as those things go?  Thanks!

Havent tried it yet but Baby Bargains recommends the Diaper Champ over the Diaper Genie.

Not using anything, I have a diaper genie from dd and think its a waste of money.  The "bags" are too expensive.

Champ is better than Genie.

I use both, Genie is on the 2nd floor and Champ is on the 1st.

I never put diapers in the Genie because it stinks every time you open it. Also, you need to buy refills $$$$$$.

Champ doesn't smell at all (the way its designed, you never open it, except to change the bag) and the liners are anything you choose, plastic trash bag, or CD laundry bag.?

We got the diaper genie elite. I'm super excited about it. Just putting it together kind of made me figure out how it all works. Seems pretty cool to me.

We got the diaper champ as I have heard bad reviews on the genie and the special bags are really $$$$ (like $6 each) where as the champ you put whatever bag you want in it.

we have the diaper genie at work and it is my ENEMY.  i don't know anything about the diaper champ, but i would avoid the genie.

We registered for the Genie Elite, but after reading this I wanted to check out the Champ.  It does look like a good price, but it had all negative reviews.  Do any of you that recommended it have a problem with the smell?

I hated my diaper genie, i eventually threw it a way, it was such a piece of junk. It didn't work right and cost to much to upkeep.

So far we are loving our Genie Elite, my DS has some reeky diapers and once in the genie, we never smell them again.

We got the diaper champ. I could see having to buy refills as getting to be a pain in the @*s.
